Grope after the truth, Breakthrough for 2017

                                         --Conference on strategic policy for 2017 by Shin Tech Group--

 

On November 12 of 2016, Shin Tech has held conference for conclusion on Lean management 2016 and discussion on strategic policy for 2017 in Good View Hotel, Qiaotou.

 

Vice President Saito Osamu, staff from management cadres including Japanese have participated the conference.

 

In the first half of the conference, Guo Guiying – Deputy Managing Director commended the performance for Lean management and master craftsmanship culture in 2016. She requested the core management members to lead for conducting further studies and pay for greater effort on Lean management.  It is important for everyone to have strong sense of Lean management and insistence on continuous activities for it. All participated members were requested to be the propagators and practitioner of Lean management culture for Shin Tech.

Heads of subsidiaries then reported their results on Lean management with reviews for weaknesses in 2016 and prospect for 2017.

Guo Wenying, Group Managing Director has gave explanation on the draft proposal of management policy 2017 – “grope after the truth; breakthrough; master craftsmanship”

Guo requested whole members to take the basic principle of “As a human being, what is right?” as criteria for all judgements; be honest; grope after the truth & pragmatic; pursuing goodness, truth & beauty; endeavor to be teachers of others; be serious; back to the origin and follow principles. She asked participants to treat Lean management as a belief and brave for breakthroughs thinking.  Guo Wenying said that fully understanding and thoughtful execution is critical for the success in implementation of Lean management in Shin Tech.

 

In the afternoon, there were two rounds of discussion. Participants have been divided into different groups for discussion of targets and actions for topics of quality, production, equipment, manufacturing technology, purchase, human resource and corporate culture.  In the closing speech of Guo Wenying, she commended suggestions are suitable and are eligible for adoption.
